I've used red light therapy in targeted devices like a knee wrap and in a sauna blanket. I really don't know if the red light is actually doing anything but the warm from those devices at a minimum always feels good on my joints, especially in the colder weather. I can't say I really feel any benefit from this and using the NIR light requires goggles to protect my eyes so I find this kind of inconvenient. But it's find to keep on my desk with using just red light therapy. Quality seems fine and the buttons make it simple enough to select the modes and timers so I think it certainly feels and operates as they describe.

Like many people, I pieced together my own equipment through several purchases. I was afraid to invest too much at first; however, after a week of daily red light therapy, I knew I had made a good investment. I started out with two panels, but the panels were a little short for me and uncomfortable to stand on during treatment, so I bought a horizontal stand. This was a huge improvement to my equipment, but I still had issues with not being able to reach my entire body at once. As a result, I spent more time under the light than I would have liked. I now have two 900s on a horizontal stand and a 300 on a tabletop stand. This is the perfect setup for me. I share this setup with my wife. While my wife was initially not interested in red light therapy, she now uses it as often as I do. I use it for pain relief and my wife uses it for skin treatments. My back problems are no longer an issue and my wife looks years younger. I should point out that I also purchased an inversion machine at the same time and believe that a combination of red light therapy, daily inversion machine training, and traditional corrective exercises will be needed to fully resolve my back issues. Anyone who has suffered from chronic back pain knows that this regular therapy is worth it. Red light therapy has also resolved my insomnia issues. Before bed, I spend 10-15 minutes on each side under the light. I usually fall asleep during the treatment and sleep through the night. Red light therapy has changed my life (and my wife's, I think). I'm in my fifties and feel better than I did in my early twenties. I highly recommend it to anyone considering buying a red light panel
